knackered


I'm too tired.

Too tired to write up the give away post. Too tired to pick winners of the t-shirts. Too tired to think.

For now, here is a photo of Sugar Daddy's crib shoes. Yes, he was small once.

And that thought makes me melt.

    Oh I hear ya sister...I'm so tired b/c i haven't slept in the last 24 hours....all the hours since my hubby flew away to Ethiopia...he's still in the air and I can't go to bed...I'm hurting from missing him. Its different from your reason for sleeplessness, but its sleeplessness all the same...hang in there.

    Well I suppose now is as good a time as any to write and tell you how I stumbled upon your little oasis-of-a-blog just a couple of weeks ago and I adore every word, every picture, every small, sweet, simple pleasure in your life that seems to make me appreciate mine just a little bit more.
    Maybe you being tired is God whispering 'rest now' before your beautiful family welcomes your long-awaited, much-loved daughter. I wish you peace in these next few days, and joy. And I thank you for sharing these things with me and countless others.

    The pink puppy shoes went in the mail yesterday so you should have them by Wednesday.
